I have a confession.....
..........I just had my first litter speutered yesterday, and I was totally nervous!!! I've had plenty of my own cats done in the past, and helped many other cats get speutered without feeling this level of nervousness. I'm chalking it up to having been there when they were born and watching them grow. They really do become like your (furry) children!!!

The time is growing near when they'll head to their new homes. This is going to be hard, but I think it will be rewarding, too. At least that's what I keep telling myself. Wink

When they got home from their "special kitty" surgeries, they were pretty groggy and out of it. At approx. 4 am, they were all kinds of full of themselves, jumping all over my head, biting my toes, purring up a storm, etc. I must admit, even at that early hour, I was glad to see them back to their old selves. Smile

Anyhow, here's some updated pictures of the "kiddos." I hope you enjoy them. Smile

They're all so beautiful, Debbie. Congratulations on getting through the spay/neutering. They're well on their way to their new futures. Smile

They are so cute, and the new owners are going to be fortunate to get these kittens. You sound like an excellent breeder - a very caring one! I wouldn't want a breeder that wasn't a little nervous about the kittens going in for their speuter.

beauties they are. I am sure they will be missed but also they will be loved by their new parents. I do not think I could let them go. Good thing I am just a pet owner and not a breeder.

Happy desexing day! (Though I would worry, too.)

Thanks everyone!! Big Grin

My husband remarked at how very small the incisions were, particularly on the girls. We remember when they used to be much bigger - it's awesome to see the evolution of technique as well!! Smile

All three of them slept with me as I watched TV last night. They are so snuggly, I just love them to pieces. I'm sure their new homes will be very loving too. Smile

They are so gorgeous, your so lucky, I wish I was a breeder. My other have isn't as passionate about raggies as I am. It looks like you are doing a fantastic job, welldone.Big Grin

Thank you for the kind comments!! Smile

I have to say, having my husband be supportive as a breeder is paramount. Smile Also, my kids are very involved - my two older ones are coming with me to a show at the end of this month (my youngest son came with me last time and was very well behaved and helpful). My hubby also cleans the litter boxes, my kids help feed the kitties - it really is a "family affair." I couldn't do it without their love and support. Wink
